Your rights as data subject

Under the specified contact details of our data protection officer, you may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • information on your data stored with us and on their processing (Article 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of incorrect personal data (Article 16 GDPR),
  • erasure of data stored with us (Article 17 GDPR),
  • restriction of data processing if by reason of statutory obligations we are not yet allowed to erase your data (Article 18 GDPR),
  • objection to processing of your data with us (Article 21 GDPR), and
  • data portability if you have consented to data processing or have entered into an agreement with us (Article 20 GDPR).

If you have given us your consent, you may revoke such consent at any time with effect for the future.
You may turn to a supervisory authority with a complaint at any time, e.g. to the competent supervisory authority of the German federal state of your place of residence or to the competent authority responsible for us.
You will find a list of supervisory authorities (for the non-public area) with address details at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html

Storage of general information when our website is visited
Nature and purpose of processing:

When you access our website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transfer information, information of a general nature is stored automatically. Such information (server log files) includes e.g. the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and similar information. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn as to your identity.
Such information is processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • ensuring smooth establishment of a connection to the website,
  • ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • evaluating system security and stability, and
  • for other administrative purposes.

We do not use your data to draw conclusions as to your identity. Information of such nature is evaluated by us statistically where appropriate for the purpose of optimising our website and the technology supporting it.

Legal basis:

The processing is performed pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

Recipients:

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers working as data processors operating and maintaining our website.

Storage period:

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for. For the data serving to make available the website, this is the case as a general rule when the respective session has ended.

Provision prescribed or required:

Provision of the aforementioned personal data is prescribed neither by law nor by contract. Without the IP address, however, it is not possible to ensure the service and the operability of our website. Moreover, it is possible that individual services are not available or are restricted. For this reason, an objection is excluded.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

Nature and purpose of processing:

To display our content correctly in all browsers and in a graphically appealing manner, we use “Google Web Fonts” of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”) on this website to display fonts.
You can find the data protection guideline of the library operator Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Legal basis:

The legal basis for integrating Google Web Fonts and for the related data transfer to Google is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Recipients:

The retrieval of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. In this regard it is theoretically possible – albeit currently unclear as to whether this is done and, if so, for what purposes – for the operator, in this case Google, to collect data.

Storage period:

We do not collect any personal data through integration of Google Web Fonts.
You can find further information on Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Third country transfer:

Google processes your data in the USA and has subjected itself to the EU_US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Provision prescribed or required:

Provision of personal data is prescribed neither by law nor by contract. However, without standard fonts the correct display of the content cannot be enabled.

Withdrawal of consent:

To display the content, the programming language JavaScript is normally used. You may therefore object to the data processing by deactivating the execution of JavaScript in your browser or by installing a JavaScript blocker. Please note that this may result in the functions on the website being restricted.

Amendment of our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to adapt this Privacy Policy to comply at all times with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the Privacy Policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new Privacy Policy then applies on your next visit to our website.
